As the Clean and Affordability Transportation Choices Specialist at Hawaiʻi State Energy Office (HSEO), Trinity Gilliam assist HSEO with affordable and clean transportation projects and research to help achieve a resilient clean energy economy, with focus on addressing the needs of vulnerable and underrepresented ALICE and low-income communities. Gilliam helps coordinate meetings and projects to raise awareness of clean transportation options snd accessiblility for vulnerable communities. Gilliam has a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a minor in Environmental Studies from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. She is currently working towards receiving a professional certificate in IBM Data Science. Before becoming a VISTA at HSEO, Gilliam was an intern at a farm that specializes in regerative agriculture and provided community support at RVA Riverfront events.
