Serving as the Energy Climate Communication VISTA at Hawaiʻi State Energy Office (HSEO), James assists HSEO’s outreach initiatives to better inform, educate and engage vulnerable communities in energy project decision-making, access to energy conservation and clean energy resources to lower costs, increase living wage employment, and improve health and welfare outcomes. 

James is originally from Long Island, New York. He graduated with a degree in Environmental Management and Protection from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and looks forward to embracing and exposing himself to Hawaiian culture and Oʻahu’s close-knit community.
