Kiera Williams serves as a member of the Climate Ready Hawaiʻi cohort, which helps Hawaiʻi adapt to climate change impacts. Williams assists the Hawaiʻi State Energy Office (HSEO) with energy efficiency, renewable energy, clean transportation, and public education to help achieve a resilient clean energy economy, with a focus on the needs of vulnerable and underrepresented communities. Williams helps coordinate events with community partners and develop strategies to identify methods and materials to be used for outreach on cost-saving energy conservation and clean energy projects.   

Williams has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Hawai'i Manoa. They served as an AmeriCorps NCCC Corps Member from November 2020 to July 2021 in the Southwest Region. They served as a contact tracer with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, as support staff to FEMA, local health agencies, and military medical units on community-based and mega-site vaccination sites in New Jersey, and as a volunteer with Show-Me Central Habitat for Humanity and the Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture in Columbia, Missouri.
