Amanda Ho serves as a member of the Climate Ready Hawaiʻi cohort, which helps Hawaiʻi adapt to climate change impacts. Ho engages with underserved communities about Hawaiʻi State Energy Office energy project decisions. She helps plan and coordinate projects that will help communities have a direct role in the project-developing process and develops educational climate media.
Ho worked as a Mechanical Engineer at NASA’S Jet Propulsion Laboratory for six years, from 2015 to 2021, where she worked on several flight projects including the Mars Rover and Europa Clipper. While working, she also earned her master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 2018. She attended the University of California, Los Angeles where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering in 2015.
