Jeffrey Dack is Senior Planner with the Maui County Department of Planning. He supervises staff responsible for coastal planning and permitting. Mr. Dack is also the Maui County Representative on the State Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Commission. Previously, he was a planner in California for over 26 years,  with 19 of those as a city planning director for a coastal town on Monterey Bay. His professional experience includes coastal planning, military base reuse/ redevelopment, infill development, planning management, new urbanist planning, environmental review, general plan update, and major projects review. He has a Master’s degree in Planning from UCLA and a B.A. from UC Berkeley.
