Barry Usagawa is the Program Administrator for the Water Resources Division of the Honolulu Board of Water Supply. He has led the development of Oahu’s 8 regional Watershed Management Plans for resource protection and water use and development, and is a member of the Hawaii Community Foundation’s Freshwater Council which developed the State Freshwater Blueprint for water conservation, reuse and recharge targets to ensure 100 mg/d of resilient water by 2030.
Barry has worked for over 34 years at Honolulu Board of Water Supply in water systems analysis, environmental, capital planning, water resource management, conservation, reuse, water rights and land use planning. He is a licensed professional engineer in Hawaii and a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
