Revere Wood serves as a member of the Climate Ready Hawaiʻi cohort, which helps Hawaiʻi adapt to climate change impacts. Wood helps to coordinate, facilitate, and mentor the nine-member VISTA cohort. She supports the VISTAs in equity- and climate-related project development and coordination and helps with cohort building through events such as the upcoming Earth Month events. She began her service as VISTA Lead after serving as the Community Engagement and Communications Specialist in the inaugural Climate Ready Hawaiʻi cohort.
Before her VISTA service, she designed and implemented events to educate and promote the growth of the Aloha+ Challenge Goals through her work with the Hawaiʻi Green Growth Local2030 Hub. She worked as a freelance writer for the WE Empower UN SDG Challenge, a global business competition for women entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Wood worked as an Outreach Coordinator with GRID Alternatives, a nonprofit organization that positively transforms the lives of low-income families by providing them access to clean, affordable solar energy, as well as hands-on training that reduce barriers to entering the solar industry. Wood graduated from the University of California, Riverside in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Sustainability Studies.
